Crystal structure of hexaaquadichloridoytterbium(III) chloride
The crystal structure of the title compound, [YbCl2(H2O)6]Cl, was determined at 110 K. Samples were obtained from evaporated aceto-nitrile solutions containing the title compound, which consists of a [YbCl2(H2O)6](+) cation and a Cl(-) anion. The cations in the title compound sit on a twofold axis and form O-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds with the nearby Cl(-) anion. The coordination geometry around the m...
متن کاملCrystal structure of benzyltriphenylphosphonium chloride monohydrate
The title compound, Ph3(PhCH2)P(+)·Cl(-)·H2O, was obtained unintentionally as the product of an attempted synthesis of a silver di-thio-carbamate complex using benzyl-tri-phenyl-phospho-nium as the counter-ion. The asymmetric unit consists of a phospho-nium cation and a chloride anion, and a water mol-ecule of crystallization. In the crystal, the chloride ion is linked to the water mol-ecule by...
متن کاملCrystal structure of 2,2-diphenylhydrazinium chloride
In the title compound, C12H13N2 (+)·Cl(-), the chloride salt of 1,1'-di-phenyl-hydrazine, the phenyl rings are inclined to one another by 78.63 (17)°. The N-(+)NH3 bond lengths is 1.445 (3) Å, and the N-Cphen-yl bond lengths are 1.435 (3) and 1.447 (4) Å. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked via N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds, forming chains along [10-1], which enclose two adjacent R (4) 2(6) ring moti...
متن کاملCrystal structure of 2,6-diaminopyridinium chloride
The asymmetric unit of the title salt, C5H8N3 (+)·Cl(-), comprises one half of the 2,6-di-amino-pyridinium cation (the other half being completed by the application of mirror symmetry) and one Cl(-) counter-anion, also located on the mirror plane. The amino N atom shows a significant pyramidalization, with a dihedral angle of 30.4 (14)° between the least-squares planes of the amino group and th...
متن کاملCrystal structure of tin(IV) chloride octahydrate
The title compound, [SnCl4(H2O)2]·6H2O, was crystallized according to the solid-liquid phase diagram at lower temperatures. It is built-up of SnCl4(H2O)2 octa-hedral units (point group symmetry 2) and lattice water mol-ecules. An intricate three-dimensional network of O-H⋯O and O-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds between the complex molecules and the lattice water molecules is formed in the crystal structure.
